Kids’ Fishing Clinic at Lum Park

The clinic will consist of informational sessions, lunch, fishing from the shore and off the pier (contest), and taking some fishing tackle home. This event is free! A parent or guardian must be present at all times.
** Children must be signed-in by 9:30 a.m., accompanied by an adult and participate in all learning stations to be eligible for the afternoon lunch, fishing contest and prizes. **
There will be three age groups for the fishing contest 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12. Children are encouraged to bring their own fishing poles; limited loaner equipment is available.
Check-in is from 9:00 – 9:30 a.m. by Pavilion 1 in Lum Park (closest to the beach). Event begins at 9:30 a.m. with learning stations from 9:45-11:45 a.m. The fishing contest is from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Prizes and participation bags will be handed out from 1:30-2:00 p.m.
