Home for the Holidays – HSO Winter Concert Series

Heartland Symphony Orchestra’s winter series, Home for the Holidays, presents the world premiere of Katherine Bergman’s Superior.

Katherine is a Minnesota-based composer whose music has been performed by major ensembles throughout the United States and internationally.

Continuing the practice of highlighting our own musicians, this concert will feature HSO’s trumpet section as soloists: Chris Fogderud, Nick Bunio, & Gary Taylor.

Additionally, seasonal favorites will also be performed, including the beloved sing-along. Additional pre-concert music will begin 45 minutes prior to show time so come early!

HSO concerts are free and welcome an audience of all ages. Donations are graciously accepted by mail, at the door, and online at www.heartlandsymphony.com

Home for the Holidays will be presented in Little Falls at 7:30PM on Saturday, December 6 at Charles D. Martin Auditorium and in Brainerd at 2:30PM on Sunday, December 7 at Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board and the Five Wings Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. In Little Falls, the Laura Jane Musser Fund provides additional support.
