Hackensack Memorial Day Service & Parade

At 9:30 a.m. May 25, the Hackensack American Legion Post 202, Auxiliary and the SAL will present a Memorial Day service at the Memorial to Cass County Veterans Killed in Action in the city park. The service will include a parade to the Boy River where a wreath will be placed to honor Navy veterans.
Beginning at 10:30 a.m., formal services will be at the Hillcrest Cemetery. The service will include a roll call of deceased veterans from all conflicts, including some from the Civil War. The guest speaker will be Pastor Judy Gustafson from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hackensack.
In the event of rain, the May 25 services will be at the Hackensack American Legion, also beginning at 9:30 a.m.
