Crow Wing County Historical Society Fundraiser Event

The Crow Wing County Historical Society invites you to attend its 98th annual gathering of its members and the public in support of our museum. This is our largest fundraiser of the year! Social hour begins at 5:00, dinner is served at 6:00. Dinner is your choice of herbed, marinated three-cheese stuffed chicken breast or tender roasted beef with a cabernet demi served with dinner rolls, herb roasted baby red potatoes, chef’s seasonal vegetable, and dessert. Meals will be served directly at your table. Price is $50/person. Private cash bar is available. Jeremy S. Jackson will provide a presentation on logging railroad research by archaeologist Doug Birk and others starting in the early 1960s, including the search and discovery of a rumored locomotive roundhouse near the northern terminus of the Brainerd & Northern Minnesota Railway. Jackson is a historical researcher, avocational archaeologist, genealogist, and writer. Please submit an RSVP with payment by April 18th to attend.
