Winter Solstice at the Arboretum

December 22, 2017 @ 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm

The Winter Solstice Festival at the Northland Arboretum is a great event for the whole family to celebrate the longest night of the year!
Live music by a spiritual synergy drumming group and a bonfire. Come help us celebrate as you help drum.  Hot chocolate & cookies for sale in the visitor center.
Don’t miss out on a fabulous evening of entertainment and family fun. Drumming will be done outdoor weather permitting or moved indoors.
The winter solstice (or Hibernal solstice), also known as midwinter, is an astronomical phenomenon marking the day with the shortest period of daylight and the longest night of the year. In the Northern Hemisphere this is the December solstice and in the Southern Hemisphere this is the June solstice.

ADMISSION: Free to the Public.
