Take the Dam Picture Contest

An event every day that begins at 12:30 pm, repeating until December 31, 2015
Light Up the Dam is a community project which began in 2013. The Crosslake Economic Authority, City of Crosslake, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Crosslake Recreation Area, Crosslake Ideal Lions Club, Brainerd Lakes Chamber of Commerce, Crosslake Park and Library Foundation and the Crosslake Historical Society got together to light up the Pine River Dam in Crosslake in an effort to create an inviting and fun holiday experience. Come and enjoy the holiday lights, shopping, dining, outdoor activities and all that Crosslake has to offer. The committee will continue to add features and lights each year as funding and support allows. Tax deductible donations are accepted at The PAL Foundation 14126 Daggett Pine Road, Crosslake MN 56442.
Take the Dam Picture Contest
The lights on the Pine River Dam in Crosslake will be lit every evening through December 31, 2015. Take you best shot at capturing this landmark while the lights are on, and your photo could be selected as our 2015 photo contest winner.
The winning photo for the 2015 Light up the Dam contest will be featured in Thank you notes to our individual donors and businesses, and displayed at the US Army Corps of Engineers Campground, Crosslake Chamber Welcome Center and Crosslake City Hall.
•Pick up an entry form at the Crosslake Chamber Welcome Center, Crosslake City Hall, Crosslake Community Center and US Army Corps of Engineers office.
•Entry fee is $10 PER photo. Make check payable to PAL Foundation c/o Crosslake EDA 37028 County Road 66 Crosslake, MN 56442 or drop off at Crosslake City Hall.
•Pictures must be a minimum 300 DPI quality and emailed in JPEG format to Crosslake EDA at pattynorgaard@crosslake.net Deadline for submission is December 31, 2015.
•Winning picture will be announced by Crosslake Ideal Lions Club members by Monday, January 25, 2016.
•Notification of winner will be announced in the Northland Press and the Pineandlakes Echo Journal.
