Sunday Funday at the Arboretum

Individuals and families are encouraged to experience the Northland Arboretum’s natural beauty and get some exercise at its Sunday Funday non-competitive 1 mile and 5K hikes that are being held at the Arboretum on Sunday afternoon, June 12.
The easy hikes through the Arboretum’s natural beauty will begin at 1 p.m. Register in advance at northlandarb.org and receive a free T-shirt. Park at the V.A. Clinic and use the Arb’s entrance off Northwest 7th Street behind Westgate Mall.
Following the hike, stay at the Arb and enjoy a petting zoo, bouncy house, and live music until 3 p.m. Bug catching kits will be distributed and ice cream sandwiches served.
Thanks to major sponsors Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, Essentia Health, and Mike’s Tree Service, the event is free for the community to attend.
