Summer Solstice at St. Mathias

Join us as we celebrate the coming of summer – another exciting summer of music – at the Farm on St. Mathias! Enjoy the longest sunset of the year outdoors while enjoying a gourmet dinner and entertainment by opera superstars performing your favorite hits from the opera stage.

Our quartet of opera singers from Minnesota Opera will entertain with familiar arias and ensembles from operas by Mozart, Rossini, Verdi, Bizet, Puccini, and more! In addition, a silent auction will be open throughout the evening full of opportunities to support the Festival while enjoying any number of experiences getting to know the Festival musicians later this summer. All proceeds from this event will go to support our Music Mentors Project, bringing musicians from the Minnesota Orchestra to the Lakes Area throughout the school year to mentor music students through classroom demonstrations, ensemble sectionals, and private instruction.
