November 18, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
We are proud to bring stand-up comedy back to Yesterday’s Gone in Brainerd, MN!
YOUR PERFORMERS
James Stanley started his journey in stand up comedy in 2013 at the very young age of 16 years old. Within a few years James was hired as a house emcee at the Joke Joint and a couple years after that he was hired at famous Acme Comedy Company where he is now a regular feature. James has opened for and worked with big names in the comedy world such as Sean Patton, Stavros Halkias, Dusty Slay, Dave Attell, Geoffrey Asmus, Nimesh Patel, Tim Meadows, and more. James has been featured in the yearly write up for 2021 Comics to Watch MN and was a semi finalist in the ‘Funniest Person in MN Contest’ in 2018. James is continuing to travel more and more of the country and go as far as he can as a stand up comedian.
Pearl Rose is a comedian, writer and performer recently returned to her hometown in Minnesota. She has participated in the Limestone Comedy Festival, 10,000 Laughs Festival and the District of Laughs Festival. Pearl has performed at venues up and down the East Coast including the Kennedy Center, DC Improv and Good Good Comedy Theater in Philadelphia. She has been featured in the Star Tribune and the Washington Post’s The Lily and was named one of Racket MN’s Comics to Watch 2023.
Special Guest- Tim Harmston started doing comedy in 2002 at the Mall of America, easily one of the most impressive malls in the Upper Midwest. In 2003, Tim won Acme Comedy Company’s Funniest Person in the Twin Cities competition, something he will be sure to tell people when he’s an old man in a bar. Tim has worked in some of the best clubs and theaters from Los Angeles to New York City which is pretty astounding because he enjoys living in the woods of Northern Wisconsin, his home state. Tim has made TV appearances on Late Show with David Letterman, Comedy Central, and NBC’s Last Comic Standing. His Dry Bar Comedy special “Zoom Out” was released in 2022 and his third comedy album is due in early 2024. The best course of action for any comedy fan is to buy one of Tim’s albums on iTunes stream him on Spotify or catch one of his jokes spinning on Sirius XM radio.
