Greg and Ginny are a young, in-love couple who want to be engaged. Ginny leaves for a weekend to visit her parents, whom Greg has never met. However, her real visit is to the home of the married, older man she?s been having an affair with, a visit intended to break off the relationship. Greg decides to surprise Ginny and her parents by dropping in, unexpectedly, to ask for her hand. What ensues is a comedy of misunderstandings and mistaken identity, written by the master of British comedy, Alan Ayckbourn.
