Prohibition in Minnesota with Arn Kind

Historical re-enactor, Arn Kind, is returning to the Brainerd Public Library and this time he is presenting “Minnesota’s Wild and Woolly Prohibition Days.” Learn all about “The Great Experiment,” Prohibition, and how it changed the lives of many people in Minnesota. Hear about everything from Gangsters and speakeasies to average Minnesotans setting up their own stills. Kind’s engaging program will be held on Tuesday, March 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the library.
This free Legacy Program is funded in part or in whole with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008, which dedicated funding to preserve Minnesota’s arts and cultural heritage.
