Music with Merritt Live

In his teens and 20s, Merritt was primarily a keyboard player and harmony singer in multiple bands across multiple genres – Reggae; Funk Rock; All Sorts of Dance Music; Folk/Pop Vocal Music; South Pacific Sounds – from Samoa, New Zealand, the Hawaiian Islands; Disco.

After a 15 year break, he was reincarnated as a finger-style guitarist with an interest as well in other instruments – 5-string banjo, ukulele, Portuguese cavaquinho,…. His musical focus these days is on older music, on songs drawn mostly from 1900 to 1975. He still enjoys harmony singing when he gets the chance.
