LAMF Julia Bullock Recital

This winter, at the 66th annual awards ceremony, Julia Bullock was awarded a GRAMMY® in the category of ‘Best Classical Solo Vocal Album’ for her 2022 Nonesuch Records album, Walking in the Dark, “an album that shines,introducing us to an artist curating a career on her own distinctive terms,” (NPR).

Here at LAMF, Julia needs no introduction. She first connected with this community in 2009, starred in the festival’s first opera production in 2012, Mozart’s The Magic Flute, and has made many returns to the festival stage since. This season, Julia will perform a breathtaking solo recital here in the Lakes Area. Revel in the incredible artistry of our dear musical friend as together we celebrate her first Grammy® win and her Spring 2024 Metropolitan Opera debut.
