Kids Fishing Clinic

FREE Kids Fishing Clinic on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Lum Park, for ages 4-12. Pre-registration is required. Children must be accompanied by an adult and participate in all of the learning stations to be eligible for the fishing contest, prizes and shore lunch. There will be three age groups: 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12. Children are encouraged to bring their own fishing poles; limited loaner equipment is available. The event will be limited to 150 children.
Check-in is from 9:00 – 9:30 a.m. by Pavilion 1. Event begins at 9:30 a.m. with learning stations from 9:45-11:45 a.m. The fishing contest is from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Prizes and participation bags will be handed out from 1:30-2:00 p.m.
COVID-19: In respect to other participants, if you or your child has tested positive or been exposed in the past 10 days, please do not show up the day of the event. Wearing a mask is advised at the learning stations, and try to keep six feet apart as much as possible.
