Computer Classes at the Brainerd Library

If you are new to computers, haven’t used them for a while, are a little unsure and uncomfortable, or just need a bit of a refresher, we have the tools to help you tackle technology at your own pace and gain the confidence you need to succeed. All classes taught using computers equipped with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2013, unless otherwise noted. Class size limited to 9 students.

Drive, Disk or Cloud?: Saving Digital “Stuff” – Our lives are increasingly stored on our computers and devices–where do we put it all? And just what is “the cloud,” exactly? We’ll explore options for preserving digital files of all kinds, and some tips for organization. Basic familiarity with computers and file types required.
