Community Picnic
July 25, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
We are super excited to announce we are having a family friendly Picnic! In light of Covid-19 we are still trying to make sure we are still serving our community, bringing awareness, advocacy and acceptance to all.
With that, this is a wonderful way to get out and meet the community members. Masks are encouraged along with social distancing from other families. We are asking you bring your own lunch and drinks. This makes sure no allergies are ignored and there is no worries about covid and your family.
We will be having games intermittently. we will announce the time blocks when we are a little closer. These games are for the children. We have them broken up into age groups. 4 and under, 5 through 8 and 9 through 12.
Here is a list of childrens activities:
Hula hoop contest. Each hoop will be sanitized between uses.
Fashion show, bring your own dress up or costume.
Dance contest. Always fun to bust a move.
Flip Flop kick, because what child doesn’t love to kick off their shoes?
Socially distanced Simon says.
We would also love to involve the older children. If 13 and older would like to participate we highly encourage it. But if they do not like those games we do have a contest for you!
Anything goes art contest! You can paint, sculpt, draw or whatever else you can think of. Our only rule, keep it pride related. There is an age break up there as well. Ages 13 to 19, then 20 and older.
All games and contests will have prizes!
Stay tuned for more possibilities for fun and prizes. 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
