Christmas in Crosslake Town Square
December 16, 2023 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Whos and grinches alike are invited to Christmas in Crosslake Town Square’s “Whimsical World of Whoville” beginning December 1, 2023. In the holiday spirit, business owners in the Town Square have come together to bring the first annual rendition of this event to Crosslake. Dr. Seuss’s beloved “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” inspires this year’s decorations and festive activities. The Crosslake Town Square will transform into the village of Whoville on the evening of December 1 and will include four fun events every other Saturday through January 13, 2024.
On December 1st, the Mayor of Whoville, Augustus Maywho, and other Whoville friends will flip the switch to light up the square at the inaugural Crosslake Town Square Lighting at 5pm. Families will also enjoy caroling, hot chocolate, face painting, temporary tattoos, festive snacks, pictures with Santa and many photo opportunities. Join the festivities from 4:30 to 6:30pm. In the following weeks, Whos from all around are invited to join the costume contest, scavenger hunt, gingerbread house party, and snow sculpture building, plus other fun events outlined below.
The Crosslake Town Square Association is grateful to the Crosslake Ideal Lions Club for their support as the lead sponsor of this new event, and to Northland Sotheby’s International Realty for being a “Who Mongous” sponsor!
See the full event schedule below for all Whoville activities. All events are from 4:30 to 6:30pm and are free to attend. Festive treats and hot beverages are available.
