Central Standard Time Jazz Ensemble

Central Standard Time is a community jazz combo made up of area musicians who have a shared love of jazz history, literature and performance. The group was started by Laurie Chamberlain, Joe Yager, Jim McFarland and Chris Fogderud as an outlet for playing standard jazz literature from all time periods and genres. The group’s book consists of traditional swing, latin, funk, blues, rock and even modern originals written by the members of the group. This variety leads to an engaging and interesting performance which is sure to have something for everyone.
