Brainerd Jaycees Lil’ Rubber Duckie Race

Watch over 5,000 rubber duckies race down East River Road on a giant slip-n-slide, giving one lucky raffle ticket owner a $2,500 cash prize! All of the top 30 ducks will win prizes as well.
Duckies are available for adoption at Pine Square and College Square convenience stores in Brainerd for $5 and on race day morning at the Brainerd High School. The first 30 duckies to cross the finish line will be eligible for the $5,000 in cash and prizes. The winning duck will receive $2,500 cash. The duckies are collected and prizes awarded at the Brainerd Jaycees Street Fest on 7th, Downtown Brainerd at noon, but those adopting duckies need not be present to win.
You can purchase raffle tickets beforehand at all 4 Square gas stations (College Square, Raceway Square, Nitro Square, Pine Square) or from a member of one of these youth athletic organizations for your chance to win:

The schedule of events on Saturday, July 27th is:
– 9 a.m.-11 a.m. – Visit the Brainerd High School to adopt a duckie.
– 11 a.m. – The duckies will be launched from a Crosslake roll off on to a 700 ft slip n slide!
– 12 noon – winners announced & prizes awarded at Street Fest on 7th, downtown Brainerd
The Brainerd Jaycees started the Lil’ Rubber Duckie Race in 2011 as a means to support area youth athletics in the Brainerd lakes area. The Jaycees partnered with Lakes Area Youth Soccer Association (LAYSA) and other youth sports organizations to help sell the duckies. The Jaycees have donated over $100,000 dollars to youth athletic groups over the years.
The Brainerd Jaycees is a volunteer organization for young men and women ages 18-41. The Brainerd Jaycees are also well known for the $150,000 Ice Fishing Extravaganza, Run for the Lakes Marathon, and Street Fest on 7th. Visit www.brainerdjaycees.com for more information on the Brainerd Jaycees.
