Brainerd International Raceway’s Bracket Drag Racing Series features some of the best amateur drag racing in the country as 250+ drag racers compete in 10 different classes. Fans can see dragsters, cars, trucks, bikes, snowmobiles and Junior Dragsters, all of which are competing for prize money, hardware and all-important series points that go toward series championships at the end of the season.

This year’s Bracket Drag Racing Series has a dozen chances for drivers to take home hardware as the series features 12 races on six weekends. On Saturday and Sunday, each class has one round of time trials at the beginning of the day before starting elimination rounds. Class winners will be determined at the end of both days so the intensity will be ratcheted up!

Brainerd International Raceway’s Bracket Drag Racing Series is on the drag strip, featuring some of the most exciting amateur drag racing in the Upper Midwest. During the 12-race series, 250+ drivers compete in 10 classes in dragsters, cars, trucks, bikes, snowmobiles and Junior Dragsters with winner crowned both Saturday and Sunday. The Zalusky Advanced Riding School showcases great Superbike action on the road course Saturday. Bikes will be on the track for Road Closed Promotions’ Track day on Sunday, too. Great family fun, and the pits are always open. On-site camping is available, including 164 full-service RV sites. Daily admission is $20. Kids 12 and under are FREE!

Thursdays

5 pm. . . Gate open – only when there is Test & Tune on Friday

Fridays

11 am – 6 pm . . . Test & Tune (Only at brackets 1,2,and 5)

No test day then gates open at 5 pm

SATURDAYS

7 am-5 pm . . . Shirt Shack hours

9 am . . . Time trials begin. Eliminations to follow.

SUNDAYS

7 am-1 pm . . . Shirt Shack hours

9 am . . . Time trials begin. Eliminations to follow.

Times and run order are subject to change. Tune in to 105.3 FM for racing action and announcements.

Run Order:

Junior Dragsters, Trophy, (Jackpot and Quick 16 starts round 4 pm, if run), Stock/SuperStock, Pro, Bike/Sled, Sportsman, Super Pro, License/Test

Super Pro, Pro ET, Sportsman, Bike/Sled and Trophy will have one time trial before the start of each day’s races.

Stock/Super Stock and Junior Dragsters get one time trial and one qualifying round before each race.
