Birding 101 at the Northland Arboretum

Join us as we explore bird identification, birdsong, habitat, how to attract birds to your yard, and more.
Leaders: LeAnn and Ron Plinske, avid ‘Bird Nerds’ since 2007, are also Minnesota Master Naturalist Volunteers, Northland arboretum members and volunteers, and Brainerd Lakes area Audubon Society (BLAAS) members.
Class includes indoor presentation with techniques, tips and tools to help you become a better birder, plus a brief trail walk (weather dependent) to test out your newly-learned skills. Class designed for adults and youth ages 12-16 when accompanied by an adult.
