Billy Collins at Tornstrom Auditorium

Verse Like Water: the visiting poet program of Central Lakes College presents An Evening with Billy Collins, September 7th, at 7:00 in the Tornstrom Auditorium in the Washington Education Center in Brainerd. After the jazzy warmup act The Steve Yeager Trio, America’s most beloved poet will read, sign books, and then greet the public at Prairie Bay Restaurant. This kicks off the seventh year of Verse Like Water programming, and will surely be a night to remember.

General admission tickets for this literary event can be purchased in the CLC Bookstore and the Crossing Arts Alliance for $10. Tickets can also be purchased online at https://e.givesmart.com/events/7NU/ for $14. Attendees can expect their tickets mailed within 10-14 days, and online sales will close on August 30th. Poetry fans can also purchase tickets at the door if they are not sold out. We will open the auditorium at 6:00 so folks can find a good seat, and enjoy live jazz music.
