2018 American Barnstormers Tour

Step back in time to the 1920’s when the American Barnstormers Tour lands at Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport July 15, 16, and 17. Recreating the “Golden Age of Aviation” these 10 antique aircraft , costumed re-enactors, period food, and Model T cars will make you feel as though you have stepped into a time machine.

Visitors will be able to get up close and see these vintage aircraft , and talk one on one with the pilots. Rides will be available for purchase in several of the vintage biplanes and every afternoon will be an aerobatic demonstration by internationally known Mike Rinker in his vintage 1932 Travel Air biplane!

Brainerd will be the ONLY stop in Minnesota on the 2018 tour!

Sunday July 15 will also include and airport open house, showcasing the people and equipment that keep the airport running 24/7.

Thanks to the generosity of numerous local sponsors, guests will be provided with FREE parking, FREE shuttle right to the gate, and FREE admission! Your entire family can come out and enjoy a fun and educational day at the airport.
