Community Mural Painting Day

You’re Invited to Our Community Painting Day!

September 20 | 12–3 PM at the Nature Playscape Stage
We’re turning a blank wall into a vibrant, nature-inspired mural and you can help bring it to life!

Join us for a free, hands-on painting event where everyone is welcome to grab a brush and paint alongside our mural artist, Molly Mae. Whether you’re a seasoned painter or just curious to be part of something creative and communal, this is your chance to make your mark (literally!) on a public art piece that will brighten the Arboretum for years to come.

Molly Mae, a Brainerd-based artist known for her work rooted in community, nature, and emotion, will be there to guide us as we fill in sections of the mural together. No experience needed, just bring your enthusiasm!

What to Expect:
• Painting stations set up for all ages
• All supplies provided
• Meet the artist + hear about her creative process
• A joyful, collaborative afternoon in a beautiful setting

This is a free event, but we are still accepting donations to help finish the project. Contributions go toward supplies, scaffolding, and artist support.
