Wee Mushroom Felting Class

Lisa Jordan will be leading a hands-on workshop
teaching participants techniques in needle-felting.
In this workshop you will be using specially barbed needles and
fluffy wool to create a mushroom scene
straight out of nature – or your imagination.
This workshop is suitable for beginning and intermediate felters.

$25 Arboretum Member
$30 Non-Member

Fee includes the fiber, tools, and instruction needed
to make a completed piece.
Additional materials will be available for purchase
from the instructor after the class.

Lisa Jordan is an artist living under the poplar and pine in rural Brainerd, Minnesota.
She finds inspiration in her natural surroundings and her work
reflects the many colors and textures found there.
Lisa works primarily in wool, in both needle and wet felting.
Her work has appeared in magazines such as Fiber Art Now, and Handspun; in a number of craft books by Lark books; and in venues such as the gift shop at The Walker Art Center,
The Sheldon Museum of Art’s shop, and in Art-o-mat machines across the country.
She enjoys sharing the fascinating art of felting with others through workshops
and online through her blog at lilfishstudios.com.
By day she is the director of The Crossing Arts Alliance in Brainerd.
