Brainerd Memorial Day Ceremonies
Celebrate Memorial Day in the Brainerd Lakes Area! Memorial Day services and celebrations are held throughout the Brainerd Lakes Area. We invite area guests to join our Memorial Day Services as we honor our Military on this day of remembrance.
Brainerd Memorial Day ceremonies are planned for Monday, May 26, 2026
9:00 am Wreath thrown in the Mississippi River at the Laurel Street Bridge in Brainerd
9:30 am Short ceremony at the All-Veterans Memorial, 4th & Laurel Streets, Downtown Brainerd
10:00 am Parade on 3rd Avenue. NE to Evergreen Cemetery which is located at 1105 3rd Ave. NE in Brainerd.
10:30 am Main ceremony will be at Evergreen Cemetery. In case of rain, the parade will be cancelled, and the 10:30 am ceremony will be at the Brainerd National Guard Armory which is located at 1115 Wright Street in Brainerd.
11:00 am – 1:00 pm Free lunch after the ceremony will be provided for veterans and their families at the Brainerd American Legion. It will be held at the Brainerd American Legion which is located at 708 Front Street in Downtown Brainerd. Donations will be accepted.
