SUMMARY:45NRTH Whiteout  A Virtual Winter Fatbiking Event
DESCRIPTION:45NRTH Whiteout FUNdRiding Event \nFor 2021\, the 45NRTH Whiteout will be a virtual event\, something we call FUNdriding. Its a fundraiser for the Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Crew\, its a raffle and a virtual race. \nHere is how it works: \nRegister for the event by February 14th\, 2021. The first 200 registrants will receive a gift for your registration\, besides being entered into the raffle. (Raffle prizes will be introduced between now & the end of the event.) \nJoin the Crew’s Events Stava Club. Riders will only appear as completing the race course if you are a member of the Crew’s Events Strava Club. We will then track participants at the end of each day of the event. \nRide the route on one of two weekends – February 5th\, 6th & 7th or February 12th\, 13th & 14th. \nThat’s all you need to do to participate! You can ride the route whenever you would like\, as many times as you like. For free account Strava users\, you can see your ranking (but not the full leaderboard). For paid account Strava users\, you will be able to see the full leaderboard. \nEvery day of the event (February 5\, 6\, 7\, 12\, 13 & 14) we will list some of the riders\, including that day’s fastest times. The raffle will take place only after we verify users and people have had time to ensure their rides recorded correctly. Raffle winners will be announced on February 22nd\, 2021. \nIf you complete the course and you have joined our Strava Events Club but you still don’t see your ride showing up as a Strava Segment titled either Crew Virtual Whiteout 15 or 30K\, then there may have been a glitch with your GPS reception. If this happens\, please email us at (info@cuyunalakesmtb.com) and send us screencap of your ride report and your Strava name. SUMMARY:Drive-In Easter Service
DESCRIPTION:This coming Sunday (April 12)\, we are able to gather together in our Vehicles for Sunday Worship! On Easter. The past couple of days\, working with the Police Chief and DNR\, and using their protocols for “church worship in cars/social distancing”\, we have a place to meet\, and guidelines for caring for one another as we meet. \nThis will take place at our regular time (9:30)\, at Miners Mountain Center Trail-head\, just out of Ironton in the Mountain bike Rec area. You will be able to participate in your vehicles. This will also be broadcast over the radio on Skeeter 101.5 fm. \n*Anna and Mary will be playing prelude and accompanying our singing \n*Tony Noordmans will bring his sound equipment. \n*Our Sunday Worship will also be broadcast over Skeeter 101.5 fm. \nHelp will be needed to direct cars to parking spots–Please let me know if you can help. \nI will send out an order of Worship later in the week\, which will have the hymn lyrics to participate (since we wont be bringing our regular hymn books). \nPlease let me know if you have any questions. \nIn Christ\, \nPastor Eric \nDirections: turn North on County RD 30 in Ironton for 1/4 mile. As you leave town\, take the first left into the rec area. The road winds for approx 1/2 mile until it takes a right turn.
