Participants will move\, dance\, sing\, and play instruments every day and exercise their creative muscles through guided improvisation. Our team of Teaching Artists bring their expertise in drumming\, improvisation\, theater\, vocal studies\, visual arts\, and conducting to you and your explorers. \nIn addition to this camp\, LAMF will host a music exploration with a Sound Garden at the Northland Arboretum on Saturday\, August 2. And LAMF’s concert for kids will be presented Sunday\, August 3 featuring a pianist magician at the Gichi-ziibi Center on Sunday\, August 4. Participants and their families will also be encouraged to attend our opera performances the weekend of August 9 and 10 which are family-friendly and will be included in the curriculum of the week. \nFor students entering grades 1 through 5. \nThis program typically fills up in advance. Register through Brainerd Community Education by July 1 to ensure your young explorer can participate. \nLAMF believes all interested children should have a chance to participate.
