SUMMARY:Words By The Water- A Minnesota Author Experience
DESCRIPTION:The Friends of The Brainerd Public Library are proud to announce a new author adventure with Words By The Water. This event will feature amazing Minnesota authors that we are excited to have you hear about their latest books and stories of their love of libraries. \nWe are offering two options to attend\, the evening on May 2nd\, and a brunch option on May 3rd . Both dates are the same event\, giving attendees a chance to experience it when it best fits them\, a Friday evening or a Saturday early afternoon. Full details as well as the author lineup\, can be found on our website: wineandwordsandfriends.com under the Words By The Water Tab. \nChoose Friday\, May 2nd\, and join our social hour from 5:30- 6:30 pm where you can browse the silent auction while enjoying samples of popular NA beverages from Cash Wise\, Kombucha samples from Ya Sure Kombucha\, and coffee and a cash bar. \nAt 6:30 pm the sit-down dinner will begin followed by our author presentations at 7:15 pm. \nWe will end our evening with the posting of our silent auction winners and author book signings. Do not miss out on this incredible event and be sure to bring your friends. You never know what other surprises we may have in store. \nNote that our silent auction will be online using 32 Auctions as we did for Wine and Words in 2024\, and on Saturday our auction will be a paper bidding system\, giving attendees an opportunity to choose what works for them. Our auctions will have a Minnesota theme. \nChoose Saturday\, May 3rd\, and come for the social time at 10:30 am with a silent auction and NA Beverage tasting from Mark with Cash Wise Liquor as well as Ya Sure Kombucha 11:30 will be a luncheon as you listen to our fabulous author lineup. \nThis is a fun business casual to dressy event.
