Steamroller Art at Pequot Lakes Community Library

Come make your very own unique art print at the Steamroller Art program. ArtOrg is visiting the Cole Memorial Building on Thursday, August 22 and bringing a mini steamroller to help you create a unique piece of art to take home with you. First, you’ll check in, get your materials, then sit down under the tent to create your “stamp” by cutting out your own design. Then you’ll give it to the staff, and they’ll roll your “stamp” up with ink and put your inky stamp on the runway with a piece of paper on top. They will start up the steamroller and roll over it, then peel back the paper to reveal a wonderful print. Next, it’s over to the “signing table” to sign your name on your work and get your print ready to take home with you. No registration required. Drop in any time 10am-1:15pm. Event is on rain or shine.
