Second Saturday At TCAA

Join us for Second Saturday events at TCAA!
10-11:30 AND 12-1:30
Kids will be creating a selection of art projects at our Harvest Arty Party. We will be making Pumpkin Pie Buntings, Leaf Sun Catchers, and Candy Corn Decor.

Located in our classroom at 711 Laurel St, downtown Brainerd.

Meet our featured Member Artist, Lily Atwel. Lily enjoys exploring a wide array of mediums when creating her artwork and often creates her pieces from items like buttons, beads, fabric, discarded books, polymer clay, and by pouring paint. Currently, she has been interested in mixed media and bookbinding. From cultural experiences around the world, to her college studies in interior design, as well as attending various workshops and retreats taught by other professional artists over the years, these things have all had an influence and inspiration on her artwork. Lily is also a member of many local arts groups and organizations and enjoys the opportunities they provide to learn and share her eclectic interests with others. View some of her pieces on display, talk with her, and learn more about the process for creating her artwork.

In our gallery, our current exhibition, ‘Purgatory’, Artwork By Jane Ryan will be on display. This exhibition features a selection of interesting and detailed drawings, featuring Jane’s exploration into the idea of two souls connected through life and if and where they may find each other again in the end.
