Pine River Summerfest 2019

Pine River’s annual summer festival, Summerfest, is set to take off beginning July 25 and continuing to Sunday, July 28 this year! The theme for this year’s event is “Fun By The River” focusing on the beautiful Pine River and the activity it creates through the city of Pine River!
Several new attractions will be added to Summerfest this year thanks to funds received from this springs chamber fundraiser!
A professional balloon artist will be present on Saturday, July 27 at the park above the dam. He will be producing balloon art for passersby from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 P.M. No cost.
Chainsaw artist Scott Beto will be demonstrating his art on the street near the Pine River Backus Family Center during the day, Saturday, July 27. He will also be showing and selling some of his creations.
The Pine River State Bank, Cass Co. Insurance and Asset Management are bringing back the popular Minnesota Zoo-Mobile again this year! Different animals will be shown to the public at no cost from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.
Popular professional magician Brian Richards will make a return appearance at Summerfest this year! He will be performing his magic to kids of all ages below the dam at 12 Noon and 3:00 P.M. It is a free show!
The kid’s inflatable amusements will be coming back again this year thanks to Tim Walker and his crew! They will be available in the park beginning at Noon on Saturday.
Crow Wing Kayaks will be giving demonstrations beginning at 10:30 A.M. above the dam. The Army Corps of Engineers will be at the site showing folks how to best secure life vests as well.
