Paddlepalooza Gull Lake

Paddlepalooza is a supported 5 mile paddle on Gull Lake. It’s open to Paddle boards, Kayaks, and Canoes. The adventure begins on Nisswa lake and flows through a series of small lakes and beautiful waterways with a midway BBQ at Point Narrows Resort and ends up with a lakeside pizza party at Zorbaz. We donate a percentage of proceeds to HART Animal rescue and also encourage participants to bring much needed items for HART such as paper towels, kitten food, bleach, cat litter, laundry soap, copy paper, and stamps.
BIGGER AND BETTER FOR 2018. In 2017 we were blessed with the best weather yet, making our annual paddle very enjoyable. There were roughly 90 paddlers that took part in this amazing day.
We’ve made a few changes for 2018. We are offering registration options to just take part in the paddle or enjoy the BBQ & Pizza Party. Those who choose to paddle without the meal option will still be part of the crew with paddle support and shuttle ride back to the start but will not be able to enjoy the BBQ at Point Narrows Resort or the famous Pizza Party at Zorbaz.
Lead paddlers: Providing pace and guidance for various abilities. We encourage all paddling abilities and want to make sure you feel comfortable on the water. This year we will have lead paddlers in three different groups to ensure everyone knows where they are going and also to help with any assistance needed.
Paddling for a good cause. This year we will give 5% of the proceeds to Hart Animal Rescue.
Details:
#1: Online registration ends midnight Saturday August 18th! No event day registration. Sorry!!
#2: Location-Please park at the new public landing on Nisswa Lake and along the west side of the road leading up to the landing. This new landing is located on the east side of Nisswa Lake. Please see map below.
#3: Start time is 10am. Please be in the water and ready to paddle by 9:45
#4: Shuttle service will be provided back to the start where you will be able to pick up your vehicle and head back to Zorbaz for your equipment.
Please make sure you have a PFD and a dry storage for your car keys. We are all looking forward to a great day on the water!!
In the event of bad weather, we will cancel and refund everyone.
