Nisswa-stämman Scandinavian Folk Music Festival Virtual Concert

Nisswa-stämman Scandinavian Folk Music Festival announces they will sponsor a virtual “Worldwide Concert” beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, June 12, from its Facebook page and YouTube channel.
The in-person concert, which has been hosted for the past 20 years in the Nisswa Pioneer Village, was canceled due to COVID-19. Nordic musicians who were planning to travel to Nisswa for the concert will be part of the virtual concert. The concert will be presented in a pre-recorded format and will be available to stream from 7 p.m. Friday through 11 p.m. Saturday. The concert may be streamed at https://tinyurl.com/y7vpwoct.
The concert will include performances by Peter and Jeanett Rousu, violin and guitar, Sweden; Anna Rynefors and Erik Ask-Upmark, nyckelharpa and harp, Sweden; the Sturla Eide Trio, violin, accordion and guitar, Norway; Antti and Arto Järvelä, violin and guitar, Finland; and Harald Haugaard, violin, Denmark.
