For the Heart of MN: A Cardiovascular Nursing Conference at Grand View Lodge

Care for individuals with cardiovascular disease has continued to advance and grow in complexity; the field of nursing is needing to advance in knowledge and skill to positively impact improved patient outcomes and provide patient comfort. Providers in rural areas face specific challenges as the opportunities for training are limited, and travel is a barrier to accessing high-quality education opportunities. This cardiovascular conference will provide expert clinicians to educate area nurses on common cardiovascular diseases and best practices for cardiovascular care. Besides sharing cardiovascular knowledge, experts will also provide patient-care models to influence participants in caring for their cardiovascular patients.
