DIY Bra & Belt Workshop with Amy

BOLD ORACLE’S BYOB PARTY! (Build your own bra/belt, of course!) bring your own coffee ;), and Amy will bring delicacies unknown: kuchi, DIY items, jewelry, antique textiles, and more. We will be making a huge bunch of progress on making an actual bra or belt FROM SCRATCH with fabulous materials. Amy will guide you step by step through the process, with YOU doing the work, so that you actually learn to do it and can always utilize these skills to make your own costuming, which we all know makes your costumes so much more beautiful, and saves you SO MUCH money.

TO BRING – a PADDED bra that fits well – not too tight. Material to cover it with (can absolutely be a pretty piece of fabric from an old shirt or dress). Upholstery thread (available at Walmart for cheap) to match that material. A scissors. Any trim, old jewelry, or bits and bobs that you already have to decorate with. A bit-o-money to buy some decorations that will be available (save up your pennies! It’s worth it – so much less expensive than a professionally made bra/belt!)
