Cuyuna Lakes Chamber’s Annual Fall Dinner

Mark your calendar and plan on recognizing another great year in the Cuyuna Lakes at the Chamber’s Annual Dinner, Under the Harvest Moon, on Thursday evening, October 24, at the Northern Pacific Space in Brainerd.

Celebrate the end of a wonderful summer and the beginning of beautiful autumn while enjoying networking with Cuyuna’s leading businesspeople at an evening out on the town with cocktails and an expertly prepared, seasonal 3 Cheers Hospitality Catering fresh and flavorful meal of locally sourced foods served at tables decorated for Fall.

Under the Harvest Moon will be a harvest-themed event with a social hour saluting former Executive Director Jessica Vukelich starting at 5:30 p.m. together with a wine and craft beer raffle. The dinner program at 6:30 p.m. will include comments by Chamber President Matt Larson and a keynote presentation by Paul Kirkman and Paul VanderWaal, the owners of Victual and Rave Creamworks. They will speak about their new business that opened in Crosby this past summer.

We will also honor at the event, the 2019 Cuyuna Lakes Volunteer of the Year will be presented to Project Revive’s Kerrie Erikstrup, Randy Evans, Michelle LeMieur, and Johnna Johnson for bringing aesthetic beauty to downtown Crosby and rebranding the area as the Cuyuna Lakes. The “Lakes Proud” Entrepreneur of the Year will be awarded to Vern and Teffany Lewis who this year opened the Red Rider Resort next to the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area.

On the dinner menu will be a buffet of braised short ribs, almond crusted walleye with dill tartar aioli, sweet potato puree, bacon braised baby round potatoes, roasted brussel sprouts and a mixed green salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing served with fresh ciabatta and focaccia. During the social, bruschetta and buffalo chicken wontons will be available.

Special thanks to 3 Cheers Hospitality, American Peat Technology, Backyard Greenhouse, Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, Deerwood Bank, NP Space, Perfection Dock and Lift and Range Disposal for their support of the event. Tickets are only $50 per person; reserved tables for eight are $450 and reserved tables for 12 are $650. A bottle of House Red or White wine will be offered for $12. Dressy casual attire is suggested.
