Candace Simar BWA Author Talk at The Brainerd Public Library

Candace Simar carries a passion for history and her Scandinavian heritage. Her Abercrombie Trail Series received both a Spur Award and Spur Finalist awards. Shelterbelts was a finalist for both the Willa Award and the Midwest Book Awards. Her short story, Night Riding, received the 2018 Laura Award. Simar has been a BWA member for about 20 years.
Candace will present a short workshop, Scene: The Building Block of Story, on January 26. Her books will be available for sale at the event. Free and open to the public.
