Arts and Fathers Day at Crosslake Lutheran Church

Come celebrate the Arts and Father’s Day on Saturday, June 15, 6:30 pm, at Crosslake Lutheran Church!
A Handbell Choir Concert with additional selections by instrumentalists John Andrews, bassoon; Jan Laurel, trumpet; Patricia Lundeen, piano; Judy Tender, flute; and a Dixieland-style combo playing “Just a Closer Walk with Thee.” The concert will take place in the church sanctuary. The theme “This Is My Father’s World” will be highlighted throughout the music program.
The concert is in celebration of the opening of a congregational art exhibit: Crosslake Lutheran members have been encouraged to submit art pieces, connecting to the theme “This Is My Father’s World.” The art pieces include photography, painting, fiber art, woodworking, and more, with a variety of mediums. Refreshments will be served in the Fellowship Hall as concert-goers are viewing the art exhibit. The art exhibit will remain on display for several weeks following this opening event.
