SUMMARY:Across the Board Skate Deck Auction in the Crossing Arts Gallery
DESCRIPTION:Crossing Arts and Lakes Area Skatepark Association Present “Across the Board Skate Deck Auction” July 5th- July 29th in the Crossing Arts Gallery. Closing Reception will be July 28th from 5pm – 7pm. \nThis radical exhibition created by Lakes Area Skatepark Association and Crossing Arts features the work of 20 local artists\, who have donated their artistic talent to skate decks! These pieces are truly one of a kind\, and handmade with love for the community of the Brainerd Lakes Area and everyone in it! Come to Crossing Arts July 5th – July 29th to see them in person! \nJuly 28th from 5 pm- 7 pm\, Crossing Arts will be hosting a closing reception that you can’t miss! There will be snacks provided by sponsors\, Coco Moon\, and Big Jay’s\, as well as a Community Deck that we need your help to paint! The community deck will be raffled at the event for the winner to take home with them after! There will be all sorts of gnarly fun to be had for all ages! This event is free to the public\, donations are welcomed. \nThe auction will be held online starting July 5th at 10 am and ending July 30th at 5 pm. Proceeds for the auction will be split between Crossing Arts Kids for Creativity Kits as well as Lakes Area Skatepark Association to help fund our much needed skatepark! \nThis exhibition is funded\, in part\, by the voters of Minnesota through grants from Five Wings Arts Council and the Minnesota State Arts Board\, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. \nFor more information contact Crossing Arts at 218-833-0416\, info@crossingarts.org.
