SUMMARY:45NRTH Whiteout  A Virtual Winter Fatbiking Event
DESCRIPTION:45NRTH Whiteout FUNdRiding Event \nFor 2021\, the 45NRTH Whiteout will be a virtual event\, something we call FUNdriding. Its a fundraiser for the Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Crew\, its a raffle and a virtual race. \nHere is how it works: \nRegister for the event by February 14th\, 2021. The first 200 registrants will receive a gift for your registration\, besides being entered into the raffle. (Raffle prizes will be introduced between now & the end of the event.) \nJoin the Crew’s Events Stava Club. Riders will only appear as completing the race course if you are a member of the Crew’s Events Strava Club. We will then track participants at the end of each day of the event. \nRide the route on one of two weekends – February 5th\, 6th & 7th or February 12th\, 13th & 14th. \nThat’s all you need to do to participate! You can ride the route whenever you would like\, as many times as you like. For free account Strava users\, you can see your ranking (but not the full leaderboard). For paid account Strava users\, you will be able to see the full leaderboard. \nEvery day of the event (February 5\, 6\, 7\, 12\, 13 & 14) we will list some of the riders\, including that day’s fastest times. The raffle will take place only after we verify users and people have had time to ensure their rides recorded correctly. Raffle winners will be announced on February 22nd\, 2021. \nIf you complete the course and you have joined our Strava Events Club but you still don’t see your ride showing up as a Strava Segment titled either Crew Virtual Whiteout 15 or 30K\, then there may have been a glitch with your GPS reception. If this happens\, please email us at (info@cuyunalakesmtb.com) and send us screencap of your ride report and your Strava name. We’ll check to see what the issue might have been and we’ll make sure you get entered into the drawing. This is exactly why prizes are random and not based on race placing!Traveling for this event?
