Tom Hanson’s recap on recent trip to Saudi Arabia

How is U.S. Foreign Policy Impacting the 2016 Presidential Election?

Tom Hanson returns to Lakes Area Unlimited Learning from a recent trip to Saudi Arabia to discuss U.S. foreign policy and its impact on the upcoming presidential race.

He currently serves as Diplomat in Residence at the University of Minnesota – Duluth and is also is a member of the Minnesota International Center’s “Great Decisions” advisory committee and frequent Great Decisions speaker.  He is a Board Member of the Oslo Center for Peace and Human Rights, U.S. Foundation and a former U.S. Foreign Service Officer, participating in the opening of new U.S. Embassies in Mongolia and Estonia.  His postings also included East Germany, France, Norway, the Soviet Union, Sweden, and the former Soviet Republic of Georgia.  He has worked with the Foreign Relations Committees of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives and served as Director for NATO and European Affairs at the Atlantic Council of the United States in Washington DC.  Join us Tuesday, April 26, 2016, 1:30 – 3:30 pm, Heartwood Senior Living Conference Center, 500 Heartwood Drive, Crosby, MN.  The general public and Great Decisions members are invited to this FREE event.
