Longville 4th of July Celebration
July 3, 2017 - July 4, 2017
We celebrate Independence Day on the actual 4th of July, so come and enjoy the parade, food and all-day fun, right in downtown Longville.
There will be a food court featuring many different food vendors in the city parking lot across from the city docks. The Chamber will be selling pies, hot dogs, hamburgers and pop. Other tempting treats usually include walking tacos, cheese curds, snocones — and a beer garden!
Staging for the parade will begin at 10 a.m. in the Salem Lutheran Church parking lot. The parade begins at 11 a.m.
There will be inflatables for the kids and games, contests and prizes for all ages.
Please Note: We will not have Turtle Races on July 4th. The regular Turtle Races will be held on the Wednesdays before and after July 4th.
At dusk, Longville’s spectacular fireworks display will take place over Girl Lake.
What a great way to celebrate our nation’s birthday and independence!
