Lakes Area Music Festival – Explore Music! Camp

Kids in the Lakes Area won’t want to miss this weeklong day camp packed with activities exploring music and the Arts! Students (entering grades 1-5) will participate in a variety of creative activities that will guide them through learning about the orchestral music presented at the Festival’s Family Concert.
Participants will move, dance, sing, and play instruments, as well as exercise their creative muscles through guided improvisations every day. They will share what they have discovered in a special performance as part of the Lakes Area Music Festival!
Invigorating musical exploration will be led by Alexander Pena – classical musician and teaching artist from the Eastman Community School in Rochester, NY – with a team of teachers from New York and Chicago who bring expertise in acting, improvisations, movement, musical theater and choral activities.
$65, includes t-shirt and a daily snack
Students grades 1 – 6
Enrollment is limited. Register through Brainerd Community Education by July 1.
